The POA Park

Your gateway to two lakes

The Eastdale POA Park sits at the corner of Westway Drive South and Mayo Drive, opening onto two of the community's lakes you can see in our photo gallery.

  • Quiet water for kayaking, canoeing, and fishing
  • Open to property owners, residents, and their guests

Members are welcome to bring guests to the amenities, as long as everyone follows the park rules and dues are current.

From glassy private water made for a paddle to the wide-open reach of Lake Palestine, there is room to fish, float, and unwind.

Our community boat ramp puts you right onto Lake Palestine, built for boating, water skiing, canoeing, and fishing.

Reached from the common area at its southeast corner. Tilapia have been stocked to help keep the water clean, catch and release only, March through October.

Eastdale POA Park Rules

The Eastdale POA Park is private property, for the use of property owners, residents, and their guests only.

The park is maintained by volunteers, so please do your part. If a problem arises, call the Bullard Police Department at (903) 894-7788.

  1. 1Guests must be accompanied by a resident at all times.
  2. 2Dues must be current to use the park.
  3. 3Do not litter. You bring out what you brought in.
  4. 4The park gate is always to be kept closed and locked.
  5. 5Use of the park and lakes is at your own risk.
  6. 6Do not block the boat ramp.
  7. 7Maximum boat length is 14 feet.
  8. 8Only authorized vehicles (registered with Eastdale POA) are allowed in the park.
  9. 9Eastdale Acres membership stickers must be displayed on all vehicles.
  10. 10Pets must be at heel or on leash at all times. Please pick up after your pet.
  11. 11All vehicles, including ATVs, must stay on the road.
  12. 12Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
  13. 13If gatherings will exceed 25 people, contact Eastdale POA for prior approval.
  14. 14No vehicle, trailer, or overnight camping.
  15. 15Loud noise or music after 10pm is prohibited.
  16. 16Anyone causing damage or engaging in endangering behavior may be suspended from park privileges.
  17. 17Visitors are responsible for any damages caused by their use.
