Mark your calendar

Two standing dates anchor the association's year: the Annual Meeting of Members every May, and the Board's quarterly meetings in between.

  • Board elections are held at each annual meeting.
  • A Solicitation of Candidates is mailed to members before the meeting, with instructions for registering as a candidate.
  • Held at the POA Park or at East Lake Baptist Church.

Quarterly Board Meetings

Dates announced in advance

  • Board meetings are open to all residents.
  • The agenda is available the week before each meeting.
  • Members may address the Board at the start of each meeting.
  • Meetings are typically held at one of the Board Directors' homes or at East Lake Baptist Church, where recent quarterly meetings gathered owners in January and March.

Community traditions

Season after season, neighbors gather at the community park for the celebrations that make Eastdale Acres feel like home. A few recent favorites:

July 4th Celebration

Independence Day brings the neighborhood to the POA Park. In 2023, festivities kicked off at 7:00 pm with hot dogs, yard games, and fireworks, and neighbors brought their own chairs, drinks, and snacks.

Trunk-or-Treat

Families decorate their trunks and gather at the park for costumes, games, and candy. The 2023 edition filled a Saturday afternoon with a costume contest, a best-trunk contest, and plenty of snacks.

Holiday Mailbox Decorating Contest

Neighbors dress up their mailboxes for the holidays. In 2023, mailboxes were judged on December 22, and the winner was announced December 23 with a $100 prize on the line.
